If this was done by Zardari, people would be screaming.
But the same people are silent when the Sharifs, and others commit so much corruption.
Article doesn’t mention how much was mishandled, how much was the asset worth and how much possible ‘kick-back’ was involved.
So why are you silent? Instead of dragging Zardari into the discussion, may be you can share details on misappropriation/mishandling of privatization.
Peoples party is sitting in the Punjab government, and if there is some misappropriation they should resign, or the federal govt needs to initiate a case against the punjab govt

that news article doesn't mention any shoddy dealing. If you look at that news again, they're able to fetch more than the market value for the assets sold. Not that these "Sharifs" are any masoom farishtas, and something might eventually come to surface later but as of now I think you're jumping the gun here.

In Zardari's defence, all you can do is bring Sharif brothers corruption.
I don't know when people like will learn, you are the educated ones and acting like JAHILS is quite disappointing. I have never seen you criticising Zardari when the whole world knows about Zardari's corruption. Sharif family had pledged revenge from people when they were in London.
They want people to feel the pain for not baking them in 1999.
They have Punjab under control and they are doing systematic economic destruction of Punjab. Before Shahbaz Sharif took over, Punjab gov. had Rs. 80 billion surplus in its accounts.
Now Punjab gov. is under debt. of about Rs. 40 billion from federal gov.
With these statistics, we can know what Nawaz Sharif will do to Pakistan when he takes over as PM.

^^ its only few billions IF it is even there.. what about the IMF FUNDS which 5th term has been delivered to Pak Govt? What about the hike in oil price by govt? what about the expensive Electricity even though there is NO electricity? We can NOT say that anyone of them is a pious man. But maybe better than the other a bit.
Again one thing to ask, who is better or will work for the betterment? PPP, MLN, MLQ, MQM, ANP? Who you think will work for Pakistan.
PS: All those who support one party even they know its wrong then they are doing ONLY to save themselves and not thinking for anything about others or for Pakistan.

Punjab govt is bankrupt due to its reckless atta schemes etc and is now bent to sell every state owned land in Punjab.. a better option would had been planning to generate revenues by prudent use of those assests..
Than I only wanted to inform you and wanted to know any update but I knew that this club of criminals is involved in every sort of corruption and media is backing them. They were saying it transparent.

Liquidation Board chief ‘involved in corruption’

LAHORE - The Chairman Punjab Cooperatives Liquidation Board (PCBL) Nazar Chohan has been found involved in financial embezzlement and moral corruption, as the Intelligence Bureau has sent a confidential report to the Punjab government, sources revealed here on Saturday.
The report (a copy of which is available with TheNation) disclosed that the Chairman PCBL dodged the top provincial hierarchy to create an impression that he had been victimised by the former Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi to secure top slot in the present set-up despite he had resigned during the previous regime.
“The allegation about his moral corruption in his capacity as Chairman PCBL have found to be true and it is learnt that he tries to sexually harass the girls appointed by him on contract basis. The allegations mentioned in the complaint about the girls such as (S, I, H, S, A, A, P and others) have been found true,” said the report sent to the Chief Secretary by a leading sensitive agency.
Well-placed sources revealed that Mr Nazar Chohan who is also enjoying protocol by getting police squad for his security, is drawing at least Rs 400,000 salary from the national exchequer, had approached the Punjab Chief Minister and complained that the former CM had victimised him and ultimately he had to leave his job. Sources further said that Deputy Secretary Muham-mad Wasim is playing the role of front man for the Chairman in financial irregularities being committed in the department.
According to the report, “It has been learnt that he (Chairman) had resigned from service during PML-Q regime on June 4, 2003. Later when the PML-N government came into power, the subject reportedly approached the PML-N leadership complaining of his victimisation at the hands of PML-Q leadership and was subsequently posted as Chairman PCBL in August 2008. “Whereas, he was never victimised,” the report revealed.
“So far as allegations about Muhammad Wasim are concerned, it is learnt that he was appointed as Clerk in 1998. However, after promotion, he is working as deputy secretary and looking after the affairs pertaining to Administration and Claims (in PCBL). Wasim is learnt to be the front man of Nazar Chohan and is known to be a corrupt person,” the report disclosed.
^^ Can they get Presidential Pardon if found guilty??? ( Thats has been the case so far, all corrupt persons get promoted or get pardoned by our Sweet President Zardari)

In a program Hasb e hal at Dunya TV Azizi told that a rest house of 12 Acres (96 Kanals) in Qasoor city was sold at about 12 million while in a previous auction it was offered 150 million.
This is good governess with full corruption and your attention is diverted only to Zardari.

Today I saw a banner ( Perhaps the only one) about selling of 10 kanal of land on Fawarah Chock Rawalpindi .
The center of the city adjusent to Raja Bazar.
This is a national asset,
A shop in this location is about 20 to 40 million.
200 shops can be made and than too a parking plaza can be made .
A need of city.

This was basically a Tanga stand **made by our British rulers to help their slaves and now it was being used as Stop for people of the city. This was a public place and noway a property to be privatized. They shall be doing same in the other cities.
