I am prediabetic and feel that I am developing foot sores and need special shoes and special care for my feet. Has any one tackled this problem and found solution.

My parents are diabetic. They've never seen a foot doctor (and frankly I've never heard of one in Khi) but my mom had a problem with abnormal growth of the cartilage in her heel some time back (at least I think it was the cartilage). It was causing her a LOT of pain. Then she found a shop in Zamzama that specializes in shoes for people with foot problems. They had a pressure point sole or something that prevented the growth. They also do a special sole which is custom made for your foot by taking an imprint. My cousin has developed a similar problem and was referred by her general physician to a Baqai hospital department here which, as I understand it, also does pretty much the same thing (makes a custom shoe sole).
