No. We file our taxes jointly so I couldn't hide it even if I wanted to. We don't ask each other details of how much is in our personal savings accounts BUT we're both full aware of each other's income, retirement/investment accounts etc.

Nope never, and one shouldnt have the intention of hiding either, like paheli said we also file our taxes together so there isnt much to hide from one another even if we wanted to.
We have always had joint accounts and will continue to do so that way we both know exactly where our money goes, even If I go shopping I never hide anything from him and vice versa, also once a month we both sit down and lay out how the coming month will look like, for e.g any upcoming wedding/events/trips cost and put it aside accordingly.
