so whenever i apply a sunscreen my face becomes very oily as if i had apllied oil to it.
what to do?i have tried different branded sunscreens, but its the same.
by the way,is it ok if i apply a sunscreen and not a sunblock?
Re: do you have the same problem?
yeah it happens a lot :(
Re: do you have the same problem?

Re: do you have the same problem?

Re: do you have the same problem?
ya i have the same pro dats y i dnt use it at all ![]()
Re: do you have the same problem?
It depends which one you use. I've noticed the Garnier sunscreens tend to make the skin pretty oily.
I've found that Clarins, Lancaster and Sun Sense, leave no white residue or make the skin 'oily'.
Sun Sense should start paying me sigh
Have you tried Neutrogena Sheer dry touch?
Re: do you have the same problem?
i'm sure they make my skin go darker, when i wash my face my skin goes back to a normal colour. then again london is a dirty city!
Re: do you have the same problem?
^ yes it is and i get the same feeling that i am tanning when i wear sunblock!!
Re: do you have the same problem?
@uzzie.yes i have got the same problem thats why i dont use them but after hearing about the effects of not using it and how sun can damage your skin i really want to apply a sunblock.but i am still looking for the perfect one.
@paheli:no i havent,is it good?
Re: do you have the same problem?
I had the same problem for many many years till i found a good sunscreen by Jan Marini. I am sure other department store brands are also good but this is the one i tried and love so far. It totally absorbs in the skin.
Re: do you have the same problem?
The Netrogena Oil Free Mositurizer doesn't amke your face oily. Even the Walgreens spar on one (if you are in USA) doesn't make your face oily.
Re: do you have the same problem?
^yes i have heard a lot about it but unfortunetly i cant get it here in germany :(
Re: do you have the same problem?
Look for a makeup primer that has sunblock, as it can help set makeup and wont get as oily compared to only using a sunscreen lotion...Clinique's Super City Block Oil-Free Daily Face Protector SPF 40 is an option...theres a couple other brands that I cant recall atm
