Whether i am upset or not, I can still question your religion. Whether tolerant or not, every ideology can be criticised. the point i was trying to make was that I WILL oppose intolerant ideologies- and frankly berating nonbelievers and cursing them **is **intolerance.By repeatedly mocking nonbelievers Islam promotes intolerance of other religions among muslims.
And your welcome to do so. We don't stop you from questioning it. Every ideology has been criticized since its inception. What do you think calling thiests are people having no senses is equivalent to if not berating? The only criticism in Islamic scriptures is for idol/nature worshippers, christians and jews. What are the Christians and Jews criticized for is that they did not preserve their original messages and are now fraught with incorrect ideologies. That is not intolerant but clarification because Islam, Judaism and Christianity all have Abrahamic roots. Its clarification from our perspective about what has gone wrong in their ideology and an invitation to come back and embrace the message about the Oneness of God. As for idol/nature worshippers it simply presents rational against their doing, again that is not intolerance but its a call to wake up.
And one more thing, ideologies are man made such as Athiesm is a man made ideology or philosophy. Belief in God is not an ideology or man made ideology IMO. Ideologies can always be swept under the rug but so far and Inshallah! it will not happen till judgement day, the thiest notion about the existence of God will live. Athiesm is a mere tool people use to run away from the injustices of their society or vengeful pursuit of an early lingering event.
