Do you have a list of domestic chores and assignments?

When we were younger and the kids were all at home, the girls (3 of us) would divide the weekly chores - 1) bathrooms, 2) vacuuming, 3) mopping the floors and dusting. The daily chores, i.e. clean-up after dinner and washing the dishes was assigned to us by giving us two assigned days a week each.

Despite all of this, my mum still did the bulk of the work in that she is a neat freak - so she would do her daily cleaning which included all of the above plus the cooking.

The guys were responsible for trash and outside the house chores (lawncare and snow shovelling).

So, yes there was a list - just not written down.

Sounds like our home- we were 3 sisters too and for some reason, I would ALWAYS end up cleaning the bathrooms, may be cuz I was the younger one- so sad!

Now, its my sister and me- and I usually do all the safayee, bartan and stuff since she can’t be bothered at all. Hopefully, I’ll get a hubby who’s more interested in chores than I am iA
