love of starplus ... noway! :( we have such awesome Pakistani dramas, the ones tht we can actually relate too, we dont need to watch starplus dramas

its not really abt hatred ... its the wrong perception they have abt Pakistanis!!

Its not about star plus dude.........the craze of star plus was very high in Pakistan couple of years ago now its near to zero ....

I dont hate either. However, I dont know how many of you have noticed, but there seem to be quite a few self hating Pakistanis... Those people really annoy me. Sure things aren't exactly ideal, but thats no excuse to throw rubbish on everything Pakistani. A few years back, an Indian friend of mine told me of a mutual acquaintance, a certain Pakistani, who he was having dinner with one night. The owner of the restaurant, whom we also know, was an Indian with some big name contacts back in India. So that night, in walks this fairly popular Bollywood actor (forgot his name), who was visiting NY and was a friend of the owner. Everyone starts drooling all over the guy, but of-course, no one is more ingratiating then our Pakistani friend, who promptly introduces himself by saying something to the effect of, hi My name is..., adding " im sorry but im Pakistani!" Now whether this was a joke or not, im not sure, but the Indians were actually surprised to hear it, and why not... In fact, the said actor actually denounced him then and there saying you shouldn't belittle yourself with such a comment. The whole situation was rather pathetic, and ironically, it took an Indian to set him straight. Im just glad I wasn't there.

I've always thought of Pakistanis (granted 90% of the ones I know are outside Pak) are more nationalistic than Indians.. Pakistanis here in the UK are far less likely to marry ppl of other races than Indians and tend to stick to their own.. (Not saying that makes one better than the other before someone implies that)..

I asked that bcoz many of us may claim that they don't hate each other, but there are some issues which can easily create hatred. Anna Hazari is respected in Pakistan too and I personally like him too, but his yesterday's statement seems a little bit harsh and probably cannot be positively projected in Pakistan.

This Hazara person is such a hypocritical. No offence to those who revere him, but he does claims to be for human rights, but not for Kashmiri human rights. Not only that he is willing to go to war over it to prove it! And they call him the modern day Ghandi! What an insult to Ghandi... Similarity btwn this Guy and the humanist mahatma Ghandi ends at the willingness to fast. You seriously have to consider the wisdom of someone so blatantly supporting a war that could see the deaths f millions (ie nukes).

Some of the more observant among Indians have also objected to some of his statements regarding Muslims. This according to an article I read not to long ago.

@muqaweel & med911 - why shouldn't Anna Hazare or anyone else assert their rigghts as Indian for Indian territory? You may not and don't have to like him but I for one am glad he is standing strong about this matter as will everyother Indian. If Pakistan is so concerned about avoiding war they can sincerely work on stopping support to terrorists and start the work on eliminating them. That will bring peace with India, Afghanistan and the West.The only effect of Pakistan's ever decreasing Kashmir card is the Pakistani army continues to be the power center that is draining your country of all vitality

Before deviating from the topic of the thread, I would conclude that we may not hate each other, but we are unable to hate those who spread hatred. The point whether Kashmir is India's 'Atoot Ang' or 'Pakistan ki Shahrug' is debatable and should be decided by people of Kashmir.

Ghandi would not have suuported India's occupation of Kashmir, and neither would any other genuine humanists. That Anna supports India's so called integrity over the rights of the Kashmiris, shows that those who draw comparisons between him and Ghandi have absolutely no idea what Ghandi stood for. That's all.

It is Gandhi. For somebody who presume to know Gandhi to the point of expressing such comparative analysis, a first step would be to learn to spell the name right.
I don't know about you but most Indians hadn't heard of Anna Hazare till recently. But he seized a moment of conscience in the Indian psyche and drove the population to stand up against corruption a bit. That is quite an achievement.
Pakistan should indeed stop occupying Kashmir. Read up some history as you look up correct way to spell Gandhi.
