How do you guys make pizza at home? Is it all from scratch? or do you get the ready made crusts and then just top?

Well, I have made pizza from scratch as in with flour and yeast, etc. Though it turns out yummy, we get a tummy upset...maybe from the yeast. Dunno. SO now I just buy the base and do my own cheese and sauce and toppings.
Yes. I make pizza at home. I have made it from scratch, with frozen pizza dough and with the pizza shells they sell in grocery store. Also make it with pita bread. The best part about making it at home is the topping. I love meat toppings. We will sometimes buy pizza from the pizzeria and add meat and veggie toppings at home. Actually it is expensive to get any toppings from pizza sites so I just add them at home. My family just loves pizza. Oh I even get frozen pizza and add toppings .

We now make pizza at home always. Thanks to Chef Zakir's recipe my husband loves it and can and does have it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I only use 4-5 ingredients and now have substituted whole purpose flour with wheat flour so all over more healthier.

have tried diff types of dough and pita, naan etc, dont like frozen,
my shortcut is using the refrigerated biscuits, grands etc

This is my favorite brand of ready made pizza crust…much better than Boboli brand (my family prefers thin crust!)
My favorite way to make it is to brush the crust with olive oil & pesto, use slices of fresh mozzerella, sliced roma tomato and then when it comes out of the oven, I top it with arugula tossed with EVOO & fresh cracked pepper..
I also like carmelized onion, thinly sliced pear topped with the arugula

I used to make pizza's at home from scratch, but found that it costs way too much. eg i made 5 pizzas for a family dinner, not fancy ones and they cost more than $150 AUD.
it's way cheaper to buy just the base. Our local supermarket has awesome bases, that already has the tomato sauce and cheese on it

I have made pizzas at home with a premade base. Haven't attempted making the base from scratch. However, I have made a chicken braid a couple of times and I wonder if the the dough for would make a good pizza base. If so, I might just try that out one of these days.

I love pillsbury pizza crust and My fave topping on it is tandoori chicken with onion, hari mirch and a drizzle of chili garlic sauce (with tomato sauce and cheese ofcourse and u garnish it with fresh hara dhany and it is sooo desi and delicious i swear!!!!

We are huge pizza lovers!! We always make it from scratch, though there are a few times we have bought the pre-made crust (such as Boboli) but honestly I find that route more expensive. We buy flour/yeast in bulk and it lasts us a long time.
