I don't believe in valentine's day. My reasons for hating valentine's day have got nothing to do with it being a Western tradition. I think that for a day that claims to be all about 'love' and romance, it is too commercialized. The emphasis is mostly on material stuff that you give or receive. I don't think that love is about chocolates, teddy bears and yucky red hearts or pink things(though I like pink colour!).
Perhaps there is nothing wrong with wanting to celebrate love, but my main problem lies with wanting to celebrate love in a certain, cheesy way only.
