I usually say someting generic like ‘happy holidays’. I personally don’t feel like there is anything unislamic about that, but I don’t represent all Muslims.

ok fine, see i’m having a hard time with what the everyday muslim thinks about this issue and what the imams think of this issue, ill just be in a state of limbo b/c the way the two see it isn’t the same.
take a look at the link that barbie has posted, that link sees it the way i’ve been taught islam. why is there such a difference in how you see it and how this imam sees it or the phd i learned it from? is it wrong for me to get a clarification on what is correct and what is not the right understanding of it
