Irrespective of what they are called, can you show me where Islam teaches Muslims to accept and respect them ?

I’m pretty sure I answered your confusion up above. Let me repeat a verse from the Quran which pretty much tells us to live and let live and respect other faiths.

Surah 109 and Verse 6 says ‘To you be your religion, and to me my religion’

Again, if you want to talk about how people aren’t following Islam properly and its supposed tolerance, I’ll ask you to look at every religion. Bigots are everywhere. There are plenty of Muslims living in peace and harmony.
