what do you say to the verses and the imams that say otherwise about what islam truly says? why can’t the same thinking be used for those that have inter religious marriages/relationships, does that make one less of a muslim since all a muslim is doing is loving a nonmuslim, ignore the verses that say that a nonmuslim tempts a muslim to the hellfire but Allah brings one closer to paradise. why can’t same thinking be applied to those verses and parts of islam too.

We say nothing. Whats there to say? we’re not allowed to marry non-muslims and neither is a christian or a jew. This is solely my own oppinion but I assume that when you marry a non muslim, it does affect the faith of your children somehow. Also, Islam says that marriage is have of your faith, meaning in the sense that it keeps you away from sin, if your partner is god fearing then it helps strengthen your deen, fulfilling a great sunnah etc etc. I’m sure there are stronger and legit reasons but I don’t have knowledge to know.
