I am curious to know which non-Christmas celebrating group gets offended by Christmas that has led the greeting “merry christmas” turn into “happy holidays”.

I don't get offended at all if someone says merry christmas to me. Infact there r so many non muslims around, who do wish us happy Eid as well, when there is one.

nahh, its a nice thought and here in my country, everyone kind of gets the good vibes of christmas, cuz its everywhere! almost every street is decorated, to not mention the windows

nah i dont get offended, if someone says happy christmas to me i say it back
and when its eid they say happy eid to me aswell (if they know) :)

I always say merry xmas 
and if I get a card from someone…I usually give one back to them 
Because they always wish me a happy Eid 
And plus, it’s just a nice thing to do.
