Do YOU follow the Sunnahs???

It is reported that the Prophet Peace be Upon him said: “Whoever revives my sunnah at the time of the corruption of my ummah will have the reward of 100 martyrs.”

So, who here follows a sunnah of the Prophet Mohammed Peace be Upon him?

If so, which one do you follow, if not, do you intend on doing so?

So how many of you actually sit and eat/drink etc. with the right hand, greet ppl with salaams, say your appropriate du’as before doing anything, sleep the sunnah way, dress the sunnah way etc…

I only posted this, so we can encourage each other towards good, and so we can all benefit and learn from each other…

You never know when someones words can touch your heart and change you!!

Same here…

If i cannot follow the exact Sunnah of the prophet then i try to copy the attitudes of Nabi Paks closest friends and companions.

In fact my spirit is most close to one of Nabi Paks most valiant sahaba…

I cannot be as great as any of those exhalted people but i can try and follow behind them like a soldier always does

^ Just the other day I heard a bayaan from a Sheikh, and he was saying…we fulfill so many sunnahs just by drinking water properly.

1- Say Bismillah
2- Sit and drink
3- Drink with the right hand
4- Take three sips
5- Look in the glass and then drink
6- Don’t breath in the glass
7- Say Alhamdulillah when you’re done.

That’s like 7

So reward of 700 martyrs!! That’s amazing isn’t it!! So much reward for something so small, imagine the rest

Those are arab customs, hum to pakkay Pakistani hain,, ye b nahi, hum to muhajjir hain,, nahin nahin, pakkay RAJPUT hain.. haan!

^ Yeah, it's true... I've heard that many don't follow the sunnahs.... Recently, I heard couple of Ulema speak about the importance of sunnahs...and they gave a very good example I'd like to share...

Allah SWT tells us in the Qur'an to pray salaat, but He doesn't tell us HOW to pray it. The Prophet (peace be upon him) was sent as an example, and he taught us how to pray. He taught us how to fulfill the commandments of Allah SWT.

Yeah. I hope that makes sense, and everyone understands what I mean... :)

We're really lucky to be part of Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him) Ummah. :D

The Sunnah (what the Prophet Muhammad said, did, or approved of) is the second source in Islam. The Sunnah is comprised of hadeeths, which are reliably transmitted reports by the Prophet Muhammad’s companions of what he said, did, or approved of. Belief in the Sunnah is a basic Islamic Belief.
