if a guy wants to post a pic, it’s kewl, after all, its just postin ga pic for posting a pic.. but if a girl posts a pic, she’s insecure or fishing for compliments

I still dont get what the big deal is, unless you're a hijaabi. I mean come on, people see my bare naked face everyday. But initially when I started posting my pics here few years ago, yeah I was curious to know what people thought. Now I really dont care. lol

well OFCOURSE there’s a reason behind a girl or a guy posting their pics online…insecurity being the least likely one though…
WHY would an insecure girl or guy post their pics online and put it out in cyberspace for all to judge???
when you get to know people online and put up a pic they can place a face behind your online self and to me it creates a more personal “relationship” between people online. there are some who do NOT want close internet relations and wish to remain anonymous. there are some who want to see the other person’s face so they can somehow judge them based on clothes,eyes,makeup etc etc…

Cant really generalise Munni. Different ppl have different reasons. I wouldn;t get suspicious if it was just a couple of pictures once in a while or for some ocassion. U can generally tell when someone is trying to prove themselves. The funniest was when a girl put up a picture of hers to prove to me that she had great taste in clothes by the way her clothes were just average

no i don’t think so
i don’t agree, asking for pic could be for many valid reasons, in my case 2 reasons at least, uncertanity / anonymity creates doubt which is not good for any realationship. secondly, pic can tell us a lot about the person n ofzourse sharing pic shows the level of comfort n confidence on eah other.
I ask my friends for their pics…
but i don’t mind if they refuse for some reasons

pics from guys or girls are nice to see just cause you get to know that there are humans behind the net and to get little more personal with them.. in a friendly way of course...I like to be able to associate faces to nicks...so the chat rooms get more human!!
