I buy from certain halal stores that I trust. I also happen to personally know some people who supply meat and who I trust, so I’ll buy from places that they supply to. I know that some local ulema (or even other people who are particular about eating halal) have investigated the meat supply of certain places, so I’ll go with their recommendations.
