Do you change your views?

Re: Do you change your views?

beliefs no, opinions maybe, outlook yet
otherwise not significantly, but the approaches changed, I dont need to discuss or argue with people not worth the lablabata hua chalakta hua wisdom from me.

Re: Do you change your views?

When you are so struck in an argument, you do not change your opinion. You are too busy defending it da** it. I have changed my opinion only on subjects when I am not actively participating in the discussion. When I am participating in the discussion, I am trying my best to make the other person understand my opinion and would be difficult for me to change my opinion.

Re: Do you change your views?

^ good point.

Re: Do you change your views?

Best thing that happened to me here - a lady here said I engage in too many " useless and baseless arguments".

To reinforce Stormraiser 's point, it did not make an impact till abt a week later. My post/ argumentative posts ratio has now increased by nearly two orders of magnitude. Or put another way - the " useless and baseless argumentative posts" yield has decreased by nearly two orders of magnitude.

Re: Do you change your views?

Very interesting topic. To answer your question, yes I have changed my opinions based on the discussions, not necessarily on GS though. If anyone has any logical explanation to something or if its on a religious topic, the source is quoted that can be verified, then sure, who am I to challenge that.
