Just wondering how many guppies are from An Army or Armed forces Families, like I lived most of my life in Army Cantonments, went to an Army school (ArmyPublic School) and did not Join Army.
Father was in Army Corps of Engineers and was with Military Intelligence for sometime. he was stationed all over ther place, But i have lived in Pindi, lahore, karachi, Multan, islamabad, and hyderabad cantt. Sometimes do miss Army Living and regret not Joining Army as an Officer (wanted to be in SSG).
Re: Do you belong to an Armed Forces Family specially an Army Family??
Yea my father was also in army and on the top if it i we born in PMA :)
Khaar i also wanted to join army but ISSB people thought that i am not suitable for this .. :) ... good for me. After working for about 2 yeas in Telecom industry in Pak, i am doing my Masters from amrika, and thanks to Allah, i am happy with it.
Yea i do miss my army life, rather i would say its totally a different thing from civil life. You know that feeling of one big happy family. All army officers are your uncles :) ... it was really a fun.
What ever i am now, a really big creadit goes to army for that.

Re: Do you belong to an Armed Forces Family specially an Army Family??
There is an Army Public school in Daulakuan, Delhi too. I studied at the school although we were not from the Army.
I had a lot of friends sons/daughters of army officers'. They have a good life in their messes & clubs, with orderlies & perks including cheap drinks & rum.
Unfortunately, Government service & Armed forces has lost it's lustre compared with Private sector. Civilians are generally better paid in the private sector and there is now a trend to join multinationals even amongst army families.
