Many Pakistanis (mainly the Sipah-e-Sahaba fanatics) also believe that the governments of Pakistan and Iran are the enemy of Muslims as well, what's your point?

It is according to Islamist ideology. See Qutb, probably the most influential Islamist ideologue, for instance (Qutb, Mawdudi, Khomenini, and Al-Banna are to Islamism what Marx, Lenin, Engels, and Mao are to Communism). Any country without shariah is a target for "jihad" for shariah is to be extending globally according to Islamism.

Thanks dhj for shedding further light on the true nature of Islamists/jihadists for, unfortunately, many Muslims are unaware of their intentions and seem to think they are innocent lambs who managed to just get caught up in conflicts by chance in the Philippines, Thailand, China, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Russia, Serbia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Jordan, Nigeria, Turkey, US, UK, France, Germany, Argentina and on and on. Read the article. What does China have to do with the US, Israel, or the West?

Islam was created in the 7th century; Islamism in the 1920's. They are two separate things. You should learn about Islamism for you face a threat of Islamism in your own country.

!!! Qutb is the godfather of Islamism/jihadism. Few people know who he was in the Muslim world--but the Islamists certainly know him and many other Muslims unwittingly support those who share Qutb's ideology.

I have never said all Muslims are fascist Islamists. No one knows for sure how many Islamists there are. How do you define Islamist? Shariah is a good yardstick. The number of Islamists among Muslims is a significant minority, although the number who support the Islamist tactic of jihadism is smaller (maybe 5-10%).

Chinese hate Muslims more than anyone else despite so called friendship between Pakistan and China. Han Chinese are flooding Xinjiang and destroying Muslim culture non-stop. China stopped supporting Pakistan on Kashmir and stopped talking about self-determination due to its own problems in Tibet and Xinjiang.

You live in Pakistan, right? Buy Mawdudi’s book and read for yourself or order Qutb’s online and see their versions of Hitler’s Mein Kampf.

Who cares? What I am interested in is how Islamists define it for that is the reason the global jihad exists and threatens civilization.

I know there are many definitions of “jihad.” I also know how “jihad” was primarily defined before 9/11 for 1,000+ years (and the redefinition was mainly done for the purposes of “kafir” ears) vis-a-vis the Dhar-al-Harb (“House of War” which meant the entire non-Muslim world) portion of the world. Yes, there are many meanings but the primary one is military. Nearly two decades after Muhammad’s death the Islamic/Arab empire had expanded from Arabia to stretch from Pakistan to Spain (and the jihad was nowhere near done). How did that happen? A lot of “inner struggling”?

Here is what an Islamist site, which evidently dreams of Muslims ruling Europe again (yes, you guessed it! This site is based in Europe, the Dhar-al-Harb in their eyes) says about what happened.

This is why I posted from this site. Islamists believe in world conquest because they believe that is what Islam commands. You may disagree with that interpretation but here is an example of an Islamist site’s interpretation of early Islam.

Thanks, Jalaluddin. CM is an Islamist who is afraid of people learning the truth about Islamist ideology. I often quote straight from Islamist sources themselves, not allegedly "anti-Muslim" entities like Fox News!
