the ovulation calculator isn’t an exact science because not everyone ovulates on day 14 of their cycle (day 1 being the start of your period) but it’ll give you a time frame to work within. typically, the longer your cycle, the later you ovulate. when i came off the pill, i had 38 day cycles and would ovulate around day 17. another way of figuring out your ovulation is to look at your discharge. you can also buy an ovulation predictor kit. i used one to figure out my ovulation the month i conceived and plan on doing so again when we’re ready for #2 iA.
there’s lots of help out there, but first, go get a check up and make sure both of you are doing ok, get your periods sorted so you get them once a month, and then worry about the rest.
