Do you believe in ...

love?
Most people I have spoken to just believe in the “right one”. Not really “love”. Apparently people don’t fall in love anymore they just find the right one…and anyone who believes in love is being extremely cheesy, tacky, filmy etc

So do you believe in love?

Re: Do you believe in …

yes:wub:

Re: Do you believe in ...

Yes..

Love is the **feeling **btw, not the actions (which are what you're describing as 'filmy')..

Re: Do you believe in ...

Love

Well I guess Yes but with loving somebody there is consequences you know? When you love somebody you accept all their weirdness that you wouldn't accept from anybody else.

For instance even if I gained 20+kg my SO would still love me and call me beautiful because he loves me. The same way I would still think he's amazing even when he's an old bald man.

Re: Do you believe in ...

^ aww

Re: Do you believe in ...

this

Re: Do you believe in …

ofcuz yeah

Re: Do you believe in ...

That's because now people confuse "love" with many other things... Lust, want, desire, infatuation... ect.

Love it's self* is* a cheesy emotion. Respect and want for someone else's happiness is far more important and mentally satisfying.

Re: Do you believe in ...

Love is the reason to live, we are born to love, The Loving One is one of the most prominenet and strongest atribute of God, and we all are a part of God.

But I dont like to put the condition of romance in love, love is supposed to be unconditional, and its for its own pleasure. Pure love must not be contaminated with other emotions.

It's true that true love is beyond color, language, race, breed, appearance, gender, religious titles. One human soul can love thousands of other souls and vice versa, and its only a natural thing to do. To love is Ibadat

Re: Do you believe in ...

Yes I believe in love. My SO has faults but I love him and vice versa. If I was just looking for the "right one" he wouldn't be it because I'd be looking for someone perfect, but that doesn't exist.

Re: Do you believe in ...

Re: Do you believe in ...

Re: Do you believe in ...

Really depends on one's definition of love.

Re: Do you believe in ...

if a tree falls in the forest does it make a sound?

Re: Do you believe in ...

^ Who cares

Re: Do you believe in ...

we can learn to love or fall in love with someone.... like how we may start loving our classmates, them turning into best friends. or how we learn to love our relatives and even younger siblings. that same way, we learn to love our spouses..

i dont know.. i havent really experienced the true love people talk abt.

Re: Do you believe in ...

my point exactly.....who cares?
everyone has their own interpretation of what "love" might be......I might believe that love means sacrifice.....someone else might see affection as love.....
who cares what anyone believes?
who cares if a sound is made......what matters is if you hear it in your heart.....
