Not necessarily. If it was that important, it must have been mentioned in Quran where similarities between Islam and other ilhami books are told. I think its more about Arab culture than religion. The Prophet had that and therefore it becomes the part of Sunna. Its not Farz even by any Hadees e Nabvi
