end up? not really. sure you will have acquintenace/friendships with similar people. but you end up with lots dissimilar ppl, like may be ur siblings, ur boss, colleagues, teachers, classmates, dentist etc.

We attract different kind of people than ourselves but we don't get along with them nor do we get along with people who are very similar to us. A good mix of common ground and some differences is needed I guess (cause too common = boring. Too many difference = complications). You can achieve a lot of things by changing yourself, so yeah you probably can attract different people by changing yourself but it's not that easy.. try to change a minor habit of yours and see how difficult it is.

While I do think people attract the same kind of people though it's not necessarily they're similar to us or good for us.

Not really. My husband and i are complete opposite and we have been together for 10 years. It has to be a good match and balance.
A while ago, i did read a study that suggested that most people look for similar personalities since they can enjoy the same hobbies etc.
