I was reading a thread on behashti zevar, old people might know about it, but new generation is not understanding it. Other than ahadees I have heard most of it is just maulana 's advice towards ladies especially. There are other books like that too for example fazail-e-Amaal. Do other maulanas need to change the text so our generation and coming generation people can understand them. Do maulanas need to write more books for people living in West ?

I believe Imam Ghazali's books are pretty much for every era. But I guess we're talking about Indian/Pakistani writers only?

I definitely think a change is needed in the way a **part **of our society still thinks about women and their role ...don't know if just changing/releasing new editions of existing books or writing new books all together alone is enough to make that difference but its a start

No Sir role is clearly defined those things which are clear from Quran and Sunnah they can't be changed at all

Well, maybe it is time to be heard. Are you in favor of conservative ( read dominated by one religion) government or in favor of liberal and secular govt? Because how you vote determines the type of society you get to live in. Everything is interconnected.

and books should not be changed according to the society cuz society's mentality keeps on changing.
