pakman, its really a pity the way you bring up this irrelavent mohajir thing in all your posts. do you mean to say that there should be a quota system for the team? with a set a number of mohajirs always ensured of being on the team, whether they deserve or not. we have had hindus and christians on our team, so whats wrong with a mohajir.

Moin Khan is a mohajir.He may have been born in Pindi,but his parents were from India so you can supposedly say he is a mohajir.For that matter Saeed Anwar was born in Karachi,studied in Karachi,lived in Karachi for most of his life,but moved to Lahore 7 years ago and speaks punjabi.So therefore I suppose he`s also technically a mohajir or is he a punjabi? Go figure.
The fact that Latif's a mohajir doesent make a difference.He's out of the team because he's not good enough and he's not required.He can whine and bitch all he want but the fact is that he got his chance more than once, was even given the honor of Captaincy and he screwed that up too...therfore he's never going to play for Pakistan again..which is terrific because Pakistan doesent need third rate liars and low life's like Latif in the side.

I don't know what u r talking about PplsChamp cause i am not against any pakistani race. But i know that the PCB is!!!
All i am trying to say is that the PCB needs to look at MOHAJIR players as well as others (I DONT UNDERSTAND Y U BROUGHT THE INDIAN SQUAD IN THIS CONVERSATION) ... THE pCb needs to stop picking players according to their wealth and origin. I have nothing against Punjabis or anyother origin.

Well because Wasim set a deal.. he got more $$$money$$$ for losing the match then he would have recieved for winning the match... The night before the world cup it rained in the area (crick ground) .. the field was a bit wet.... How come wasim akram elected to bat first rather then the Australians batting??? The cricket world was shocked at wasims decision to bat first on a wet pitch.!!!

Pakman go back and see the video of the WC final again as much as I remember Steve Waugh at the time of losing the toss said he would have batted first as well.

you make me laugh whether it was black magic or whatever Australia played well and our batsmen completely lost it . it was not the first time they did this Pakistan was in the final mainly because of its bowlers and every one was concerned about Pakistani batting And our batsmen choose the D-Day to screw up all the hard work. But there is nothing anyone can do now it was too much to expect a six month old team to win.

waisay yaara according to the latest news, akram might retire after the england series, (i hope not), i hope he gets back in form n kik some white ass, so that the pcb is convinced that hes a national treasure, n pakman buddy u need to get a life… n i think for the next world cup, moin shudd b the captain, we need 1 or 2 new good and quick fast bowlers,if shoaib is not playing…hopefully he does,waisay i,ve heard hes fit n ready to play newzealand. but yeah during this england series, i strongly felt pakistani bowling was pretty weak, n we were a genuine fast bowler short,n i hate the pitches pcb makes, makes cricket so borring,n makes pakistan look such a negative side…

pakman2k... ok.. lemme just tell you one thing... akram is the best player EVER produced by pakistan... k... if pakistan loses a match.. people like you start crying and blaming someone, instead of just accepting defeat as a part of the game...
you nerd... it was akram's performance which won us the '92 worldcup.. i cant count the no. of matches that guy has won for pakistan...

Pakman 2k every single Pakistani expected and wanted us to bat first we were all very happy at his decision after the toss it is another thing that we did not like the result later on and started saying that Wasim should have batted first.
You know what Pakman Pakistan would have been aa lot better side today if we have not blammed Wasim for every ill faced by Pakistan cricket over the last seven years and had we been courageous enough to accept the short comings of our cricket purely from cricket's point of view. Let me tell you one more thing it was not the pitch that helped the Australian bowlers but the nervousness of our batsmen did you see Wajahat Ullah Wasti. Our team was simply not prepared enough for a big match like this. May you and others like you understand the fact.

well i think 2003 is a long way frm now, but we can make it only frm now by counting on young players, so by that time they can be xperienced, the xperienced players we have now by 2003 will be too old i guess, i dont think by that time Wasim Akram will stay a one day player, what should he do is now conctrate on his test figures.
