To cry exploitation, when we have religiously chosen capitalism and freedom at the expence of radical (albiet enforced) equality?
Re: Do we have a right
yes
Re: Do we have a right
Surely it is somthing we accept as a by product for what is seen as "greater good". I.e, it was in the small print, we signed the contract.
Re: Do we have a right
hiccup everyone has rights...go to the Human rights act and youll find that your fridge has rights, slugs have rights, strange people with long beards and turnips have rights!

Re: Do we have a right
People with no choice cry exploitation, people who choose 'freedom' and 'capatalism' make those choices to benefit themselves.
Re: Do we have a right
Noone is denying that poepel have "rights", the question is wheither a system should be overly critisised when we choose it with our eyes wide open.
The counter argument I assume would be that either/any system is flawed and although in choosing we accept, it is not necessarily "for better and for worse" and that although "perfection" is somthing that is near impossible, we should fight for ideals such as equality AND freedom reguardless.
Thankyou anyway.
Re: Do we have a right
No...no...
Re: Do we have a right
hiccup! People have not chosen any system. Given a choice, most people would choose their self-interest. And enforced equality is not acceptable. Actually it’s not equality at all. A person working harder than others should be rewarded more. We cry exploitation when we see people getting more or less than what they deserve. There are people among us who have naturally nothing to offer to the society. They must be cared for at the expense of the other members of the society. You might call it compassion or you might call it a duty. So I guess I’m a proponent of ‘compassionate capitalism’. And yes! I’m going to cry exploitation when I see it.

Are you that sort of a girl who goes to a grocery store to buy a pack of crisps and says” Pardon me sir cause I live in the free world I am overwhelmed by all these dazzling colored images of bags of crisps , which I can see cause I live in a capitalist and free society and the only radical explanation with me to go for “walkers” is that I like the flavor, so please give me a packet of ready salted , low fat , low cholesterol, environment friendly packing , pack of walkers crisps.
If so , I am sorry to bother you
If NOT…
