I’ve stopped doing that now.

I do talk on the phone but with a head piece.

I don't text or receive call when I am driving ... and if I am expecting an important call / text - I park the car and then attend the call/reply a sms ..

No way. Even during traffic jams we try to avoid messaging or receiving calls because 'kia pata kab koi zarooratmand aap se phone cheen ne ajae'.

i don’t…i do it when stopping at a signal or whatever..

but driving texts is so noob compared to texting while driving a motorcycle on pakistani roads

I do. I drive and text/talk on phone. Infact most of my calls are made when I'm driving. =(

I put on make up as I drive. Best way to do it as well.

Ain’t that the truth. And what’s the most important rule? No sudden braking when applying eyeliner - that’s a disaster waiting to happen :no:

On another note, I got a ride with a friend once and dear God, may God have mercy on the other drivers around him. He was driving with his knees and texting on his I-phone and when I started to panic, I got the whole, “Don’t worry, I’m an expert at this” line

I saw some idiot reading a newspaper while he was driving on the highway. I need to get an army style humvee to protect myself.

Me too.
I do not text while driving and if I suspect that a phone conversation is going to be long one , I stop and talk , but I am guilty of having short conversations while driving. I should stop doing that too if I want to teach my kids the good driving habits and want to be a driving role model for them.

unfortunately, I do both .. I am trying to make a concious effort not to though, especially when i have my children in the car with me…

I don't text while driving, I just search for songs on youtube. Ok I only did that once but I was really really craving to listen to these few particular songs.

About having conversations while driving, I do that alll the time. Mr. Saj can't understand why I refuse to use the bluetooth or a head set while driving. (I will let him continue working on that in peace.)
