Mr. Saif-ul-Islam,
Its not my problem but yours that you consider everything mentioned in Holy Quran literaly.
When Holy Quran talks about people being converted to pigs and apes, its not in the literal sense but in metaphorical terms. Meaning that those people have started to behave like pigs (immorality) and apes (following other people and copying them).
FateAhmad... u believe tht Allah Almaighty created humans from noting but mud (litterily) so how can he not convert tht human being in to some thing else when thtere is some thingg of him
If u still do not believe i have nothing to say but as far as i am concerned u do not believe in the power of Allah. And i far as i no Holy quran ws made to b followed litteriily
Saif ul Islam i certainly agree ith and in holy quran i have also cccome across some verse which also proves ths point. And believing in Allah Almighty (i think ) sould clear aall our doubts about creation

i am v sorry asell that u didnt like the title but a person like me with so limited vocabulary couldnt express him self much better sorry again
Ps i never the theory wssaid it ws correct
Mr. AhmadArsalan:
Creation of humans from mud doesn't mean that there is no evoloution involved. It is clearly mentioned in Holy Quran that Humans are created from mud but to reach the current life form, human does went through evolution guided by Allah.
How many of you guys who criticize this theory actually understand what the theory is about? Also there have been many skeletons found of humans in many regions across the earth (including Pakistan- called Ramapitacus) during various stages of evolution that fit in with the theory as it stands today.
And also why can the theory not be as per the Quran? Does it say anywhere in the Quran that humans are not from apes? It gives a story about Adam and his fall from heaven. But we also believe in spirit (rooh) so why could that Adam in heaven not be different to the Adam on earth?? Does it not say in the Quran (cannot remember the exact words) that after eating the fordidden fruit "their (Adam & Eve) nakedness became apparant to them and they covered themselves" - how about landing on earth in human form made their nakedness apparant to them all of a sudden? Maybe that was the divine intervention that gave us (humans) the conciousness that made us better than the rest of the creatures on Earth.
Obviously God was not going to reveal all to us in the Quran as we were not ready for the truth then. But are we not urged by God to find out about the truth many times in the Quran? In order to do so we need to keep an open mind and try to interpret these modern theories in the light of Islam. I am not sure whether the theory of Evolution is the right one but it fits with the facts available to us so I believe in it!!
As khattana says..you can make anything fit into religion. Heck, buddhism...hinduism...islam...christianity all can find a common ground or some nexus to divine intervention in creation of humans..while at the same time incorporating evolutionary aspects into their fold.
What I find interesting is that..at times the rabid scripture touters are so adamant at the literal interpretation of Koran...five minutes later theya re telling you that when the Koran said that adam came down to earth...it really means his spirit or whatever.. Pick a side adn stick to it.
Religion falls far short on explaining how life works. Simple as that.
Evidence is mounting contantly to support evolution.... Religion is constantly being left behind.
I mean, explain how apes share 99 percent of their DNA with us?
The reason is that we had similar ancestors.
Religion gives absolutely no proof of its creation story... Even the earth is proving to be way older then the religion would have us believe....
Its all comes down to evidence... Does religion give any evidence?
Another example is the big bang theory. I think it fits exactly with the Quranic explanation- Something made out of nothing. But many mullah types disregard it cuz it doesn't say "Big Bang Theory" in the Quran!! All this just reminds me of the narrow mindedness of the Church in pre-renaissance Europe. It took people like Galileo and copernicus to break their firm beliefs- that won't work with us muslims of today though as we are not interested in actually understanding these modern theories!!
Isn't the primary reason for not accepting the ape ancestor, the view that it is some form insult? But then what do scientists know? They told us the earth was the centre of universe and then they said it's flat. The rate at which we advance theories, may be humans came from cashewnuts.
^ or from two people named adam and eve, who had such superior genes that they were passed on everyone.
Which sounds more realistic..a group of adams and eves resulting from a group of monkeys and apes or one pair who created the current human race? It is a probabilities and a numbers game.. adam and eve were not their real names and they weren't alone in eden or east africa.

That is called creation process, not evolution! Wow!!! I am amazed at the lenghths your mirza went to please the British masters!
Darwin made up such a baseless story! The amazing thing is how people believed on it! The most astonishing thing is how the athiests and people who do not believe and do not want others to believe in religion propogate this funny story about evolution.
Blind are those, who even though have the revealed books full of knowledge, wander here and there!

The large eyebrow protrusions on Homo erectus skulls, and features such as the backward-sloping forehead, can be seen in a number of races in our own day, as in the Malaysian native shown here.

Homo erectus AND THE ABORIGINES
The Turkana Boy skeleton shown at the side is the best preserved example of Homo erectus that has so far been discovered. The interesting thing is that there is no major difference between this 1.6 million-year-old-fossil and people of our day. The Australian aboriginal skeleton above particularly resembles Turkana Boy. This situation reveals once again that Homo erectus was a genuine human race, with no "primitive" features.
NEANDERTHAL SEWING NEEDLE
26,000-year-old needle: This interesting find shows that Neanderthals had the knowledge to make clothing tens of thousands of years ago

NEANDERTHAL FLUTE

A Neanderthal flute made from bone. Calculations made from this artifact have shown that the holes were made to produce correct notes, in other words that this was an expertly designed instrument.Above can be seen researcher Bob Fink's calculations regarding the flute.Contrary to evolutionist propaganda, discoveries such as this show that Neanderthal people were civilized, not primitive cavemen
(The AAAS Science News Service, "Neanderthals Lived Harmoniously," April 3, 1997).

All the scientific deceptions and prejudiced evaluations made to support the theory of evolution show that the theory is a kind of ideology, and not at all a scientific account. Like all ideologies, this one too has its fanatical supporters, who are desperate to prove evolution, at no matter what cost. Or else they are so dogmatically bound to the theory that every new discovery is perceived as a great proof of the theory, even if it has nothing to do with evolution. This is really a very distressing picture for science, because it shows that science is being misdirected in the name of a dogma.
In his book Darwinism: The Refutation of a Myth, the Swedish scientist Soren Lovtrup has this to say on the subject:
""""I suppose that nobody will deny that it is a great misfortune if an entire branch of science becomes addicted to a false theory. But this is what has happened in biology: for a long time now people discuss evolutionary problems in a peculiar "Darwinian" vocabulary-"adaptation," "selection pressure," "natural selection," etc.-thereby believing that they contribute to the explanation of natural events. They do not... I believe that one day the Darwinian myth will be ranked the greatest deceit in the history of science.236"""""""""

why chimp and humans are the only animals that walk on 2 legs?
why dont we run like horse with 4 legs or resemble like horse.
^ so.. what do you mean? Tell me from where does a chimp look like a human??? It does not walk on two legs. It uses 4 legs to jump around on trees. Where have you seen humans do that?
Islamabad, LOL you misunderstood him, his interpretation of evolution comes from this:
