Weird question...if anyone says no they risk getting killed by a mumtaz qadri.
Anyway yes I love my religion even if I'm sometimes lazy following it in the right manner, I don't know where I would be if I didn't have Allah to turn to whenever I was in trouble and getting bailed out every time.

of course, if i didn't i wud've divorced it by now, God forbid. alHamdolillah i'm a muslim and extremely happy with it coz the TRUE islam is the WAY of LIFE!

Well I would say i'm not in love with the Religion becuase there is no clear cut religion... I am in love with my beliefs.
My beliefs are simple I believe in the Prophet Muhammad Salalaho Alayhi Wassalam, his fammily and the Sahabah, I'm in love with the decendants of those people and I'm in love with the history of those people...
The rest of the dogma means nothing to me... becuase I will simply follow whatever is ordered not becuase I am told to follow it or forced to but becuase I have a vow to keep which has been sworn long before my coming.
I am literally a slave to this belief and those that come after me through me will also be bonded with this belief... wether they serve is up to them.
I am not so much as in love with religion as much as drunk on those who gave me the beliefs I hold today... to some people they are long passed... nausabillah.
To me Islam is not a mere Religious dogma it is a history a way of life we are a people and we follow our beliefs... Our blind following is more powerfull than any form of love.

Although bit disturbing to learn that your beliefs are earthly (influenced by people around you) and not well grounded where as heavenly Islam as deen has permanent anchors and to believe in this package is to believe in "all anchors" nothing added and nothing taken out !
One more reason to study Quran more and authentic hadiths to strengthen your stand more firmly! imo

Your right my beliefs are more geo-centric as it were... and heavily influenced by my environment.
But sometimes I am out of touch with heaven itself... and while I fear hell I almost know that even if I was 100% Walee Allah I might still end up in the flames...
But my concepts are allways very disturbing.... The way I see it heaven would be a reward for being good... but what if you dont want rewards you just want to prove something and what more potent symbol is there than the image of a dervish who can dance in hellfire and whose Allah would never let him burn even in the worst of conflagrations... now thats very powerfull image.

And Yes! It has much more to do with our recent past and current affairs which are most disturbing and mind boggling. I wish I could compare them with any other down-slide in the history of Islam or Stock-market.
Seriously! Such down-slides does make people to think and think hard of one's bearings in life.
