Who were/are u more attached to?

ahhh i have a sad story to tell so i wudnt tell.:frowning:

Re: do u like

Was attached to both equally. My dadi ammi loved me the mostest of all her grand childrens :snooty: Actually now that I think about it…I was more attached to my dadi ammi. I still love my nano though - she gives me so many duas (the only one around Alhamdulillah).

Re: do u like

the only one around for me was my dadi and i wasnt very close to her.i havent gotten to spend much time with her.
when i was young i missed having grand parents.

Re: do u like

I was closed to my Daadi amaan as I spent most of the time of my life with her but my Naani also loved me a lot whenever i visited her in summer vacations :cobra:

Re: do u like

Dada passed away before I was born, dadi passed away when I was perhaps 5, Nana passed away when I was 7, and I loved my Nani. She passed away in 1998. God bless their souls.

Re: do u like

Difficult choice. If it was between dadhiyaal and nanhiyal, then I would chose dadhiyal, because we spent most of our time with them and therefore could understand each other more than the relatives from nanhiyal side.

From Grandparents side I liked my Dadi most (Allah unke darjaat buland farmae), she was an exceptional lady. She was very hard working and brave lady. I remember that she used to wake up early in the morning before Fajr and used to feed cows and buffaloes and sometimes getting milk from them on her own. After Fajr prayers, she always recited the holy Quran and then make lassi and makhan (through madhaani). When she got ill, no one from the young generation could take care of these things and we have to sold buffaloes and cows. She had not studied from any school and probably have studied Sindhi and Quran from a Mullani in her childhood, but she was enough capable to make budgets and knew how to utilise money. In limited income of our Dada, she was able to make a house for 5 sons and their families besides educating the children (mostly to the graduation level).

My Naani (who is the younger sister of my Dadi) is also a courageous lady. Inspite of death of our Naana at a young age, she didn't compromise on the education of children and now each of them is on good posts.
