i dont, and they say not to give until 6yrs old, is there any oher reason apart from choking on them…

I have heard none till 2 years.
My 2.5 year old loves almonds and has 3-4 daily or every other day and she has been having them a lil before she was two. She has had pine nuts (chilgooza) also and those too at the same age.My concern was choking,so I used to give her slivered almonds in small pieces.
I think these are the only two nuts she has had.I don't thinks he has ever had any cashews or a peanut, although she has eaten a peanut butter cookie once and had a bite of some chocolate with peanuts..so I think I can say she has had peanuts.
The reason they tell not to give nuts is majorly because of allergies.Peanut is a very notorious nut when it comes to allergic reactions to it.Choking on a nut is another major concern.

I do give nuts to my 2 year old everyday since they are very healthy. I usually give him walnuts as well as pistachios and almonds!

My nephews have nuts especially pistachio and peanuts. We dont have any nut allergies in the family

my daughter loves peanuts and other nuts. She is allergic to every thing else but nuts is not one of them.
But seems like it's a very common allergy. We have "nut free" classrooms for those kids. They can't even have them in the classroom.

My daughter has eaten almonds since she was 3 and loves them.
