not really. these kinds of statments are opinions of someone, who said something in the heat of the moment, and did not realize the general ineffectiveness of the words it contained and in turn the weakness of their meaning. everyone responsible knows, that marriage is the most sanctified bond that a person creates on this earth on her / his own. so, why call it a pain? it could be a pain, when one or both sides are in pain or delibrately ignorant.
but otherwise, calling it a pain, is immature.
