You mean as in I dont have any cash in my wallet and dont feel like going to the bank sorta thing?
If this is the case...then yes I will ask my husband for cash because one should respect their spouses privacy and should not dig through their wallet/purse. I for one would not like him digging through my purse so I have to give him the same consideration.
other then that...i dont need to ASK for money. I would think that if you are married then what's his is yours right? but I would think twice and discuss with him before making a huge purchase on something.
