Do these outfits have To-Be-Bought potential as Jehaiz wear?

Brides and their families mostly pick heavy formals for jehaiz with loads of kaam. Do you think the following outfits have To-Be-Bought potential as Jehaiz wear?
Would you pick any outfit from this lot for your After-Wedding wear?

Re: Do these outfits have To-Be-Bought potential as Jehaiz wear?

oh god, no.

Re: Do these outfits have To-Be-Bought potential as Jehaiz wear?

i dont think i understood yr question mahi?!.....r u asking if i think its appropriate to wear them after wedding?

Re: Do these outfits have To-Be-Bought potential as Jehaiz wear?

I mean to say whether you would actually pick and buy any outfit from the above lot and display them for your After-Wedding/Jehaiz wear? Outfits that are packed elaborately and sent to the bride's susral for her to wear at parties and at home after her wedding.

I hope I am making sense here.

I would get the a-line shirt with blue velvet borders. That's about it .

Re: Do these outfits have To-Be-Bought potential as Jehaiz wear?

nah...they don't give me that 'love at first sight feeling' which i like to have when buying clothes hehe. also, wouldn't want ultra trendy things in my jahez

Hmmmmm… well, editor-in-chief of XPOZÉ MONTHLY calls this particular piece absolutely glam!

Here is what she says about it:

" I am loving this tunic by Faiza Samee! Its easily one of the most globe-trotting pieces I have seen this season. I can see myself wearing it as a dress while attending any fashion week around the world….or maybe, even browsing through some flea market! To lounge and chill with friends, I would wear it with a pair of tapered jeans and gladiator chappals! And to attend a mehndi or shadi, I would wear it exactly the way Sadia Imam is wearing it here!"

Do you agree?!? :konfused:

Re: Do these outfits have To-Be-Bought potential as Jehaiz wear?

I cant imagine wearing that thing! Maybe i'm just not a daring fashionista lol.

Re: Do these outfits have To-Be-Bought potential as Jehaiz wear?

Nope, I dis-agree!

I hate how one outfit needs 10 different fabrics and colors.

^like in this i would take out the cream color and keep it light pink and navy. If you just calm these down these outfits are so versatile.

Re: Do these outfits have To-Be-Bought potential as Jehaiz wear?

i say its fine to get some like that because i'm sure ur going to get very heavy clothes from ur husbands side. usually the girl brings heavy and casual. and less is more in todays style so these outfits would be a complete knockout if u wore them after ur wedding at a party!

Re: Do these outfits have To-Be-Bought potential as Jehaiz wear?

It's more about how gola gunda type these clothes are. There's no sense of colors or patterns, I wouldn't even look at them twice if I was out shopping around.

Re: Do these outfits have To-Be-Bought potential as Jehaiz wear?

OK. Verdict on these?

nice clothes!

Re: Do these outfits have To-Be-Bought potential as Jehaiz wear?

So, is there any outfit that you would consider buying from the ones I posted, Stardust09?

Re: Do these outfits have To-Be-Bought potential as Jehaiz wear?

mostly blah...when you buy clothes you should like them immediately not have to think about it. i mean there's so much variety you don't need to buy things you're not sure about

Re: Do these outfits have To-Be-Bought potential as Jehaiz wear?

I would get the last one Mahi! Its really pretty in my opinion. And some of the others... I would get the style made but change the colors so that it is more simple and refined. I like the long frock style because I feel like its a versatile look that I can get away with wearing to Western functions as well and that is really handy! I am probably going to get some outfits that are not that full of kaam/not heavy formals for my jahaiz. Where I live, there are not that many occasions or functions to wear this stuff and it would be a waste. It would be nice to have some simpler stuff that I could wear to dinner parties or for Eid namaz. :) I'll prob get more use out of these.
