corded phones work everywhere...cordless ones, u just have to make sure that the adapter for the bases can take both voltages (110 - 120V, and 220 - 240V)...

I've gifted cordless ones before, and they work fine in Pak...just had to make sure about the about the voltage the adapter could take...

oh yea, I had to buy plugs converters/adapters in pak as well to switch the north american adapters (2 flat prong + 1 round pin) to the pakistan standard (3 round pins)...but those are fairly cheap and easily available almost everywhere in Pak :)
