Do the dead talk or not.

Re: Do the dead talk or not.

"And do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allah, “They are dead.”
Rather, they are alive, but you perceive [it] not".

They're living in the eyes of Allah.... in another words Allah try to say that Allah gives them more rewards to those who dies in His way.. compared to the one who died a natural death...

There is no where in the above verse which says that dead talks.. becuz then there wont be any difference among dead and alive..

Re: Do the dead talk or not.

Everyone has to die. I think we have a Quote from Quran that says everyone will die. Martys do die in real, but we shouldn't call them death. Because death is not a term of respect.

Again, not my words. I heard. I am not saying to believe this. Please find out if it can be true statement.

Re: Do the dead talk or not.

Muslims dont pray after anyone except ALLAH. Muslims (sunnis) dont ask from anyone except Allah. What you are talking about is "waseela", and waseela doesnt mean shirk. It's a problem of most wahabi's that they dont even know what is shirk and start calling everything 'shirk' which doesn't matches with their faith. signs of jahalat.

Re: Do the dead talk or not.

Ok I'll explain ...
Dead people do not eat ... but Shuhuda have sustenance which is with Allah.
Ibn Kathir tafseer states that Shaheed people are made as green birds who fly free in paradise. Their souls will be cast back in to bodies at resurrection and then judgement day begins.

Calling someone 'dead' means the lifesource is in stasis in continuum and it neither sleeps, nor wakes, nor eats or moves, etc. However, when Allah resurrects the bodies the soul will only "think" it was in the grave sleeping may be for a few hours or so. The point is death will be perceived as though it was only sleep, and even when we sleep we do not hear anybody except what is created in our dreams.

Every soul shall taste the flavour of death. Death is an event and is the process of the body being detached from the soul. People can have gone through death and can be alive in paradise in the form of those green birds as we speak, but most people who have been approached by death are dead and they are unable to listen to us or speak to us.

Re: Do the dead talk or not.

Assalamvalekum Wasim,
I have come across a Hadith, where Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, send blessing or salam to me, by the will of Allaah my soul will come back to my body and will answer to our blessings.
Since Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him was amongst the righteous ones. I feel as in Surah Baqara 154, the righteous are alive and I have infact heard stories that the Righteous one who die and in the grave there body remains, intact as even after a long period it was dug and seen. It was as if it was just laid down couple of minutes back. Dont we think that the righteous are alive and talk.

Re: Do the dead talk or not.

yes i do mean some sunnis. who call them self sunnis but the are bravile, they do shirk with Allah.

Re: Do the dead talk or not.

OK, i am glad you made that clear now, Jazak Allah,......and i think you mean 'Barelvi's',........you may feel that what they 'do' is Shirk but again, we have no right to judge the actions of others; only He, Himself knows who is wrong and who is right.
Jazak Allah

Re: Do the dead talk or not.

i guess they do talk
if someone alive can tell u what the dead go through then surely the dead know what the alive are up to.

Re: Do the dead talk or not.

That doesn't make any sense.......whats the difference between a dead and alive person. Alive person have five senses and the body act in manner of a living organism...where as dead person doesnt have those 5 senses anymore and the body is a dead cell. so how is it possible a dead can hear us or talk. Thas just a logical thing not a rocket science, now if there a question of somekinda miracle or super power given to the dead ones in recoginition of them being dead now thats another story. In that case i would love to die then.

Re: Do the dead talk or not.

Re: Do the dead talk or not.

Re: Do the dead talk or not.

Of coruse we have a right to tell people that they are worng. if some one does shirk then it is someones job to tell him not to do shirk. if some one you know do shirk then you must at least tell him that he is worng and he will not be forgiven by Allah.
