hang in there my friend! i still suck at getting jokes... but i m not just talkin abt jokes here.. i mean majority of the times what ppl say has a double meaning, they are sayin something indirectly, or insulting you indirectly in a humourous way.. u dun get it that time and when you come home, youre like, sht man, thats what she was saying... so many times my husband has told me the real meaning behind what ppl said. it drives me up the wall.. but i m improving i guess.
Yes that is what i am doing these days, hanging. Oh no i am not that stupid hehe i can know instantly when someone is saying something sarcastically or with double meaning and tried to insult me. The joke thing i suck at but i am trying to get myself better at it.
yeah maybe its something to do with the air in Dubai.. haha! havin gud friends really helps. youre one lucky girl! :) i guess, i jump to conclusions too but that is only becus i find myself somtimes unable to understand the reality of things and end up assuming, thinking, and stuff... but i know its not a gud habit. we should ask and before that listen rather than jumping to conclusions and not givin the chance to someone to explain himself
Yes, hot humid dry air of Dubai! Lucky i would not say but definitely blessed! Same here used to happen to me alot, cannot focus and think logically and thinking too much. I also used to assume things and alot of them! Misunderstandings used to be created and fights followed. I know it is not a good habit! it is a very bad habit and dangerous for us too in the sense that we can loose friendships and good people will also stop supporting us and being there for us.
