Re: Do philosophical theories
Oh, I should have said there is everything inherently wrong in homosexuality and sodomy. :D
No wonder there are still laws against sodomy in US (several states). And there are laws against homosexuality in about 83 countries of the world.
India just re-instated law against homosexuality and 13 men were caught by police in India on criminal charges of homosexuality under section377, recently.
you yourself say "still".
on the wrong side of history, you are.
your india still has laws that require ration cards to prove residence. that is worse than sodomy. i hope you arent voting for modi.

very true

I see, what you mean, but the word 'still' was not meant for period of time.
It was meant as 'despite' the fact all other laws of 'personal freedom' being in place.
About the time in history:
Who is on the wrong side of history cannot be determined at one point of time either.
Human philosophy and thought process moves and changes like a pendulum.
What constitutes right today may change to wrong tomorrow and then again wrong may come back to become right later.
About India:
I said India reinstated anti-homosexuality law recently. What is that got to do with ration cards?

I found this interesting:
Gay Porn Strangely Popular In Pakistan, Nigeria: Report
Nigeria and Pakistan are two of the planet’s most anti-gay countries, so why are residents of both nations searching for so much gay porn?
As eagle-eyed Alex Park pointed out in a recent Mother Jones post, Pakistan is, according to Google Trends, “by volume the world leader for Google searches of the terms ‘shemale sex,’ ‘teen anal sex,’ and ‘man f-cking man.’”
Both Pakistan and Nigeria rank in the top five for Google searches of the term “gay sex pics” and “anal sex pics.” Kenya, another vehemently anti-gay nation, ranked first for both searches.

does this prove that the most ‘anti-gay’ activist are closeted homosexuals themselves? seems to me they are also afraid of their own homosexuality? some things to ponder about…![]()

don't be so defensive, you indians have ridiculously ancient systems of law. that was my point. anti-homosexual, pro-ration card. primitive.

All I said was based on the fact that there was a ruling in favor of homosexuality in 2009 in India and the law was suspended... then they went back to make homosexuality a crime in 2013.
So that means in 2009 it was maadren and in 2013 ancient?
And what about countries which have laws against sodomy including U.S.? Are they following ridiculously ancient system too?
My point is there is a vast majority of people in this world who disagree with homosexuality AND sodomy from every background.. and that is the reality.
Oho, we have to observe the act before condemning it. Baghair dekhay bhaalay tou jahil log kisi cheez ko reject kerte hain.

yes, pal. how many people have been convicted in india or US for sodomy anyway? zero.

the vast majority of people don't believe in your religion, think it is bogus. so what are you going to do about it?
or is it different standards for validation of homosexuality versus validity for your blind belief system?

What does that matter? The law is there and now you are bringing another twist "how many" " how may".
Funny you asked:
Just recently 13 men were caught and were charged under section 377.
I knew you will come up with comparison of religions. Vast majority of world rejects a blind belief on worshiping stones, statues and animals. What does that prove then?
One just cannot compare religious ideas with each other and in turn support much obvious and silly ideas of homosexuality and sodomy agreed by people of so many religious backgrounds.
Re: Do philosophical theories
how many US states out of 50? how many US states have legalized gay marriage?
btw, those anti-sodomy laws are indeed ancient, as of 2003 when Lawrence v. Texas in 2003 which made sodomy laws unconstitutional. if anyone in any state gets arrested for ‘sodomy’ law (unless forced, or with minors), those arrest are unconstitutional and those states can potentially risk a huge lawsuit. there was a case in louisiana where some homophobic cop arrested some men for sodomy but DA dropped all charges as those laws are unconstitutional and should not be enforced.
Also, homosexuality is not a crime in majority of the countries, nor do majority of Americans view it as a crime. the debate in US is mainly whether to legalize their marriage, not criminalizing homosexuality itself. very few homophobic nutjobs view it as a crime.
BTW, those same nutjobs in southern states who are highly homophobic are also very islamophobic as well and view muslims very badly and generally view them as terrorists.
majority of the world does not view it as a crime, and its not a crime in majority of the countries. the countries that support criminalizing of homosexuals are usually ranked very low in human rights anyway. even muslim majority european countries like turkey, montenegro, kosovo, bosnia have it legalized! its funny how majority of the world wants to migrate to US, canada, europe, where homosexuality is supported, yet majority of the people are against it? strange..
list of countries where its legal vs illegal. you can see its legal in majority of countries, and its illegal pretty much in africa and middle east where human rights violation are very common.

Looks like you enjoy ur drinks.
Re: Do philosophical theories
Please check your facts at the door. Cause we ain’t got no time for that. We are too busy being homophobic.
PS Why no MEMES on homophobic posts yet? Maybe above lines can be a starting point?

exactly - religious reasons. nothing real.
Re: Do philosophical theories

There is absolutely no connection/correlation of liking or disliking these acts to religious background.
This is another propaganda of "homophilics" so they can win their support under the umbrella of "secularism" and reject religions which does affect many but not all people when it comes to rejecting them..
You have not given answer to how come in places where ration cards are not used to prove residence homosexuality/sodomy is considered illegal and crime?
