Do personalities affect the value of things/words ?

In 1990 when I was in school, people in my class used to make fun of a boy named “Shahrukh” as it was a unique name, but doesnt seem the same case now, due to one person. Similarly alot of people like to choose certain names for their children, not because those names sound good to their ears, but because they like that name as some inspiring personality in their past had the same name.

On the other hand most muslims seems to dislike to keep the name “Osama” for their children, only because of one man.

People like to buy and use certain products after watching their favourite footboller, actor, or singer in it’s add, without knowing anything about it’s quality.

Mostly when the President is saying something, alot of people do not honestly Judge if what he is saying makes any sense or not, but they biasedly either support or criticize him depending upon the party they belong to respectively.

Is it true ? if so, than why ? Should it be like this ?

Re: Do personalities affect the value of things/words ?

intonation and frame of references in the mind of the speaker or the person holding an attitude or opinion for or against something, is definitely hugely impacted by that person's personality.

for instance: a conservative person will on average not like crowds, as it is in the personality of that individual to be quiet and around silent surroundings, where as a person who is social butter fly or racer, the crowd is what will please.

name choosing can be a higly personal matter.
some people cannot stop short of using the same name, adding II, III, etc to differentiate from the older same name people.
fear of survival and a threat to the person, by the association of someone already not in good books, will make people to not adopt a certain name for their child/ren.

in case of persuasion by a charismatic personality, too, you will see that the communicator will communicate in such ways that even if the message is not goodoand is harmful for the public, those who are blind in their liking for the individual will waste their time listening to him/ her and not be able to make a sound informed decision, as they are being presented self serving info from the person who is trying to impress them one way or the other.

also, know that if your own convictions are positive and strong for a personally relevant idea, thought, object, event, cause, or a person who you care about,

it will be almost impossible for anyone to change your thoughts for them, by anyone.

chance happenings, a negative outcome, will be buffered by positive mood and faith in the memory of something comitted earlier, if at all it had honest behavioral intent.
