I think when I wore headscarf, most Arab women used to mistake me from being Saudi etc. However, I don’t understand the Iranian part.

haha…even in Pakistan, in Ferozsons, the guy asked me if I’m from Iran. I was like, “Wha? ”. And then my ESOL teacher, she saw my Pakistani passport and said she always thought I was Persian.

Could be the jet black hair.

I think the scarf bit does count a lot.Especially , when you wear different Arab ways of wearing scarf, they definitely take you non-Pakistani happened with me many times.
