by putting ads up
well with googles blog blogger.com
you can put up google ads and get money from it if you have a good traffic flow.

Yes...personally it's nowhere near enough to quit my day job, but it's a nice lil bonus for writing about things I like.
Most of my blog earnings come through google adsesne, you get paid a tiny amount every time someone clicks on the ads, like Kakee has said, if your blog gets enough traffic though all the clicks can add up.
I just have one main blog, but if you have the time and resource to manage multiple blogs then you could probably earn enough to live off!

Yeah, what fashionblogger said, you can get a bit but it's not much. And you have to make it quite interesting to get all the viewings!

I blog but I don't do it to earn money so I don't enable ads but what Kakee said, you can earn money by enabling adsense and getting an amount when someone clicks it.
Also, in order to make a living out of it you have to be pretty established AND have ads enabled like Temptalia.com which is a good example of a very successful makeup blog-turned-datebase.
