I personally know of quite a few people who have used online matrimonial sites and are doing very well, Mashallah.

I wouldn't be opposed to it as you never know where you will find the one you're meant to be with.

There are many people over on those sites who seriously look for someone to get married to, but there are many who look for people for just dating/time-pass/friendship, so you have to be careful before trusting anyone you meet through matrimonial sites.

They must, otherwise they wouldn't be around much. But not sure what the success rates are.

a few people had good experiences

a friend of mine at the university who is working with me, just broke up with his woman and put his profile on one of those online matrimonial sites, he got totally scammed. Thankfully he was only caught up in it for a month b4 we all convinced him to do a background check. It's important not to become emotional and always be cautious when approaching these sites.
