What about a person who is healthy and his stomach is a machine of producing H2S gas.
As soon as a person does wazu, he passes or as soon as he starts namaz he passes the produced gas.
Shall the person delibrately stop it?? would it not divert the attention???
In the above case whether the wazu would break or namaz would break??? It is a real honest question. After heavy dinners or lunch often people have this problem.
It happened to me a few years ago when I was praying amongst about 12 people in a small room. I was too embarassed to appear to stop praying because then everyone would know I was responsible for the smell :yukh:
So I stopped praying, but just went through all the motions of prayer anyway so that no one could tell.
A few minutes later, when no one was watching, I then went and did the prayer again.
So you are scared of people and NOT ALLAH. You’d rather disrepsect the prayer and fart and then go through the motions. You know your type of people the deceivers are clearly mentioned in Quraan. It say LOOK OUT there many inbetween you that say Ye’ we believe and then they don’t.
Let me dig up the right verse. I’ll post it.
Edit: as promised:
Surah 2 vs 14
“Wa-itha laqoo allatheena amanoo qaloo amanna wa-itha khalaw ila shayateenihim qaloo inna maAAakum innama nahnu mustahzi-oona”
And when they meet those who believe, they say: We believe; and when they are alone with their Shaitans, they say: Surely we are with you, we were only mocking.
Surah 2 vs10-13 Submitting as evidence that Mad_scientist did a bad thing:nono1:
2:10 There is a disease in their hearts, so Allah added to their disease and they shall have a painful chastisement because they lie
2:11 And when it is said to them, Do not make mischief in the land, they say: We are but peace-makers.
2:12 Now surely they themselves are the mischief makers, but they do not perceive.
2:13 And when it is said to them: Believe as the people believe they say: Shall we believe as the fools believe? Now surely they themselves are the fools, but they do not know
What do you mean, he should have announced and disturb everyone ??
If not? then he did correct; he kept quite without isturbing anyone and later completed his prayers.
Anyway my question was, what a person should do, if he is farting without pausing for the time needed to comlete prayer??? shall he continue? do you think his wazu is not broken or he should continue doing Taimoum? what is the answer???

He should learn to control his bodily gases specially in a mosque. I think that he was being very disrespectful (what I read and got out). But not a big deal, it's only a fart and I am sure God can take a joke.
There are definately mischief makers here - but I wouldnt say mAd_ScIeNtIsT bhai is one of them -especially in the context that has been explained - also I think the quranic quotes refer to something a lot stronger that breaking wind accidently.
Personally I think M_S did what most people would have done in that situation.

There is nothing wrong with it its a sign of good health I do it all the time and intend to keep it that way. So long you do not flagellate or keep the noise down its perfectly OK.
