Re: Do not fall for their crocodile tears. No one should be spared
The direction where TTP and their sympathisers have pushed Pakistan into, the end result would be secularism within the country to get rid of bigotry and suffocation surrounding us.
That is the only way Pakistan is going to make any progress b/c only thing religion has brought is death and destruction to the country.

1-How do you know peace will come through secular Pakistan?
2-Isn't Pakistan and its laws largely secular?
3-Which religious law of Pakistan brought this mess?
Three questions, please bring three answers commensurate to the questions.
I do not think pushing these kind of ideas in the wake of crimes committed by criminals makes any good sense.
You are making TTP equivalent to Muslims or Islam and that is wrong.

Pretty crass to use the deaths of children to bandy about such highly divisive politics. Stow it....can we at least agree that the way forward is to strengthen the Republic against those...ALL those who want to see it shatter? We have plenty of threats of a secular nature. And yea...they could care less for our kids too. Enough is enough.

1-How do you know peace will come through secular Pakistan?
secular pakistan will open gates to review a lot of laws and traditions which under the umbrella of religion are not discussed currently. For instance blasphemy law, hudood ordinance, unregistered, illegal madarsahs, self proclaimed maulvis and many more.
2-Isn't Pakistan and its laws largely secular?
No, religion is integral part of Pakistan and its law. Police are focused on catching dates at sea-view Karachi, terming it immoral rather than catching mobile snatchers.
3-Which religious law of Pakistan brought this mess?
Religious laws do not bring a mess, they create excuses for irrational behavior and provide a shield against prosecution.
I do not think pushing these kind of ideas in the wake of crimes committed by criminals makes any good sense.

Blame the criminals, not religion.
True, religion is not to blame, its the specific version of Taliban's religion which is to blame. Just like we did not like Qadyani's version of religion termed them kaafir and made them wajibul qatal by a large number of sects, taliban think our version of religion is kufr, and hence we are now wajibul qatal.
This is all due to varying degrees of insanity, ISIS was part of Al-Qaeda, but they were too brutal even for Al-Qaeda, therefore ousted out of the group. They think Shia bring impurity to Islam and hence keep killing innocent people. Its the same ideology all over, and will never stop unless (IMO) we make religion a strictly private matter. Flaunting, displaying and advertising our brand of Islam no matter how moderate or fundamental it is, is wrong.

You'd have a point if seculars have killed 50K+ people or support homicidal terrorists for murdering children. Until then, your point is not valid.

My point is that you are using the murder of children to prop up a political view and that is utterly disgusting. Shame on you.
The point was it is easy to engage in such idle nonsense, as the threats that face pakistan are many. If you can't bring yourself to respect the integrity of the state as it is....then you are also a part of the problem.

No, sir, shame on you, and your ilks, who have been supporting these murders and their ideology on this forum and all over the internet. And, no, I have no desire to play politics on dead bodies of innocent children, but I would point out that those who murdered these kids did it in the name of God & you, and many others, have been defending them. And state's integrity has been challenged by homicidal Islamists and their supporters & if that is an uncomfortable fact that you can't digest...its not my problem.

If I'm cheap you are hardly a class material who has been defending terrorists going back to Lal Masjid operation. And I'm glad you are done with me b/c I have no desire to engage likes of you in debate. And while we are at it read the forum rules b/c personal attacks are not appreciated.

Last I checked, moderate muslims are not going around and killing the fundoo's kids.
The attacks on terrorists have been in response to their terrorism and attacks and genocides on innocent peoples. 911 happened, they got attacked. Karachi airport got bombed, and they got attacked. They throw suicide bombers all over Pakistan and Afghanistan and attacked NATO and bombed schools and massacred shias and christians, drones were approved to go after them.
Who has been starting this fight? It's the fundamental muslim who thinks somehow by bombing people he will get people to become muslim.
Can't become a believer in Allah if you've been killed, not sure if anyone has told your heroes this.

TTP claim to be fighting for bringing Shariah in the country. The methods they are employing as well as their other brothers in arms in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Nigeria etc will push people away from the religion altogether. The only way to control the situation would be to put the rabid Mullahs under tight leash and treat everyone equally. This country was not made for a particular religion or sect, all who live in the country should have the same rights...

Sorry but this country was made purely with religion in mind, albeit with rights of minorities but motivation was Islam, that is why its Islamic Republic of Pakistan. It was a different time back then, now world has evolved, its time we should too.

The immediate threat is brainwashing mullahs and their mindless mercenaries. THEY do not respect the integrity of the state.

thats the point, it was made on the 'basis' of religion. The country as it is now as much for the non Muslims as the Muslims...these days debate has raged even between the Muslims...who will decide who is the Muslim is from within the Muslims as well? for each sect they are the Muslims and the rest are Kafirs, Mushriqs or bad aqeedah.
Re: Do not fall for their crocodile tears. No one should be spared
Remarkable.....you consider slander debate...
Sue me if its a slander b/c you are one of the few people here who is well known defender of terrorists. Even on this very thread you're equating vague none existence "secular threats" to murderous terrorists.
