Where is the wedding…US or Pakistan…??
If it is in the USA I wont mind a bit the non desi menu…
If it is in Pakistan,and I am attending that wedding,it means I have traveled from US to Pakistan.. and I want nothing less than the typical shadi ka khana…yummm the daig ki biryani and that korma and roghni naan and not to forget the gajar halwa in winter weddings..!!

Sushi is not going to work for sure as Sushi is an acquired taste. Mediterranean is going to rock. Simply put, food needs to be familiar in terms of look and taste. If its not, do not serve it in big gatherings like wedding receptions.

Yeah, you’re right. It is an acquired taste.

So it seems like for weddings, people prefer to stay with the familiar? Mediterranean food is great…would love to have it.
