Do Non-Pakistanis visit Pakistan these days for tourism?

Do people from America, Europe and Mid East (Non Pakistanis) visit Pakistan these days just to check out the sites, relax, and do all those touristy things? Or is it just those select few mountain climbers and adventurer types?

Re: Do Non-Pakistanis visit Pakistan these days for tourism?

Yes, but not many. When you got to Pak you usually see a couple of foreigners hanging around. Whethere they are their for business or pleasure, you can't really tell. I have spoken with foreigners who come to visit for pleasure, and the majority of the time they are Europeans. You will usually see people from all over asia. Ive rarely met any Americans or Canadians though. Tourism is on the rise. If you visit the Blue area in Islamabad you'll catch a few. I only know about north pak though, Im not sure about Sindh and Balouchistan.
