Arabs are very proud of the fact that the Qur’an is in Arabic and will not admit not knowing what the Qur’an means fully some will tell though … However there are a few tests that will prove whether they really do know it or they are not admitting to themselves that really there is much they need to learn which is different to the spoken form.

I’ll bring some good examples typical to test the ability of a native Arab at understanding the Qur’an they are verses from the Qur’an and NomiCA you can try these on them.

Ofcourse, I doubt they understand it fully and comprehend the various different meanings of each word. I think they can still understand the overall message. Just like most of us can read Shakespeare’s plays and understand the over all meaning but can not quite comprehend the depth of it as much as a person who studies it.
