I was thinking about an article I read here few weeks back…since then I am making an effort to not get angry in front of my husband and I think things are going pretty well between us since then. hmmm

Men are not well-equipped to handle a harsh, angry women. It makes them feel inferior, speechless, and they don't like the drama. This is the reason why my past ristha talks with the guy I liked didn't work out. haha Some have no tolerance for it. It's good to be kind, but we all have different emotions, so to be angry and to show it is inevitable.

Once in a while is okay, but some men don't even like to see THAT before marriage. haha The idea is that if a woman can be so harsh and angry (even if its just once or twice) before marriage, the likelihood of that showing up after marriage is pretty high. And guys sometimes don't want to take that risk. That's what I learned.

You have been among wrong guys is what I can say and secondly dynamics of relationship before marriage is different than dynamics of husband-wife relationship. Both have to put up with lop of crap from other to keep the relationship going.

Haha yeah I go for picky guys with high criteria and standards. But that’s because of my parents. It’s hard to please them. -_- Sometimes the nicer and more down to earth guys are the ones with the less-education and softer hearts, but my parents have requirements they need in a son-in-law. Also considering I’m an over-achiever myself (with a doctorate and definite over-qualifications in education in my studies here in Canada), it makes sense for my future-hubby to be similar.

Haha Milly! The irony is that I really don't get angry that often. But when I do, I can really be harsh and dominating. That's why, for the guys that I've been into, their pride and ego takes over. They feel a lack of self-worth and dislike it. I learned my lesson. Let that side come out of me AFTER marriage. :P
