I am forced to think, looks matter in the business world .. good looking people are better at getting business response from clients then the ordinary looking ones.
Perhaps that is the reason why some people are silently looking for this quality while hiring candidates.
What are your thoughts and experiences on this?

Looks do not matter in my profession. Skills and knowledge take precedence over everything else.

i dont think its good looks as much as inter-personal skills and making an effort to look on top of their game. often times people think technical skills and impressive results are all that matters, whereas the ability to communicate and keep the higher ups happy and fed with satisfying answers goes a long way to filling the gaps in getting there.

All things being equal, the one with the looks gets ahead.
