Is this true?
I have heard that you cannot read namaaz if you have long nails? Is that right? I know that you cannot read namaaz with nail polish on but with long nails…
Any correct views on this please?

Re: Do long nails invalidate Namaaz?
that is hearsay more like... nail polsih yes that's true with that on wuzu {ablution} is invalid although what is true is the fact that, nakhun tarashnai chahiyain under 40 days.
Re: Do long nails invalidate Namaaz?
its only invalid if nails are unclean - if youv had long nails - youl know how hard it is when ur doing tasks like wiping your backside or washing it. or even any other job which may leave traces of dirt/na paaki in ur nails. hence the long nails make it invalid. coz napaaki isnt necessarily seen.. it could be clear in colour -
did that make sense?
